What it does

Quietly useful, all day.

Studio is not a chatbot you have to talk to. It's a helper that watches how you work and takes the annoying parts off your plate. It drafts the email, summarizes the doc, triages the inbox, and flags the thing you keep forgetting. You keep the calls; it keeps the chores.

Does the busywork

Drafting, rewriting, summarizing, organizing, following up. Studio handles it and shows you what it did, so nothing happens behind your back.

Stays in your lane

Small stuff runs silently, bigger stuff asks first. Approval tiers keep you in charge without making you babysit every step. You get a note, not a notification.

Moves when you don't

Studio notices what's half-done and picks it up while you're away — plugged in, on Wi-Fi, you doing literally anything else. It works ahead, not on top of you.

How it asks

You stay in charge. It does the rest.

Every action the agent takes goes through an approval tier:

Everything lands in a local journal — every run, every tool call, every approval decision. The journal stays on your machine; it doesn't sync anywhere. And if Studio did something you don't like, undo is time-limited: you can roll it back, but the window closes on purpose, so a mistake can't haunt you forever.

Privacy, spelled out

Your stuff stays yours.

Raw data never leaves your device. The method for sanitizing what gets shared is private, and the audit trail is public — so you can check exactly what happened, and exactly what didn't.

The flywheel

It gets better while you don't.

Opt in, and Studio trains a small delta during idle time — laptop plugged in, on Wi-Fi, screen off — on a sanitized baseline built from your recent usage. The raw inputs never leave the device. With your consent, the trained delta feeds back into the next Tessera release, so the model you use keeps getting better at how you work.

The launch

Developer preview, Aug 21.

macOS and Linux. No waitlist, no email gating. When it's ready, it's yours. Powered underneath by the Tessera engine — the same one that ships receipts you can actually check.
